Becket stays close through the hip and begins to flare around mid-thigh. The neckline cuts down in a V, which lengthens the neck, and the sleeves run the length of the arm to the wrist. The lace carries the pattern, worked open so what is under it still reads. The hem runs out into a chapel train, the shorter of the two usual ones, and the back carries a cut-out.
