This gown is held to the body as far as the knee, then let go into a flare. The neckline runs straight from one shoulder to the other, and the sleeves stop above the elbow. The mikado is a thick silk weave that stands away from the body and keeps its shape. The hem falls to the floor with nothing following behind it, and the back is cut low.
