Mikal leaves the waist where it is and widens in one unbroken sweep to the hem. The neckline curves in two soft peaks across the bust, and the sleeves are their own piece, worn with the gown or left off. The tulle is what gives a skirt volume with no weight behind it. The hem is cut long, and the back cuts down to a V.
